Chicken club sandwich poem

Filed under: Uncategorized — attaikede @ 10:36 am

I have 1 internet friend. This individual started messaging me when we were downloading music from each other back during the napster days. I think that was in second year. 2A term, cuz I remember my desk was in the living room of the townhouse.

I think he was in med school for a bit, and then psychology, and i think maybe he ended up with an english degree.

He wrote a poem today:

I say:
what did you eat for lunch today?
Hobbes says:
mmm chicken club from deli across the street
Hobbes says:
for you, i shall write an ode
Hobbes says:
oh sweet and delicious chicken club from deli across the street
Hobbes says:
your layers are like the layers of the soul
Hobbes says:
and each one is happy and delicious
Hobbes says:
unlike the soul
Hobbes says:
which is bitter
Hobbes says:
and layered.
Hobbes says:
like a club
Hobbes says:
oh chicken club from the deli across the street
Hobbes says:
you are delicious and like life, you will end
Hobbes says:
but will have been worth it all the while, delicious club from deli across the street
Hobbes says:
such is life, such is delicious.
Hobbes says:
fin.
I say:
very nice
